Everyone can benefit from becoming more active. Being more active is important because:

- Better about yourself. Being more active reduces stress and depression. It makes it easier to relax and helps you to sleep better.
- More energised. Being more active means you will have energy to spare and will cope better with the daily routines.

- Your health is improving. Being more active can protect you against major health problems such as high blood pressure, obesity and heart disease.
- You look better. Being more active controls weight and makes you more agile.

Gym and Fitness club
YOUR PHYSICAL FITNESS NOT WHAT IT SHOULD BE?............. Then join us here at Yorebridge Sport & Fitness as a Member of our Gym and Fitness club. The Gym is open five days a week and for a one-off joining fee of £20 and then £18 per month, you can regain control of your fitness and feel better about yourself again!

If the outdoors is your thing, then why not join one of our clubs or hire the floodlit Multi Use Games Area for a kick about or game of tennis? At only £6.00 for an hour this represents excellent value and is on your doorstep!

New members and visitors are very welcome, come along and meet like minded people, make new friends and take part in an enjoyable event. Taster Session is £3.00 (£21.00 for all seven dances, discount rates apply)

Yoga
If you want to become more flexible and learn how to relax, then now is the time! New sessions of Yoga starting at the Wensleydale Centre, Askrigg. Mondays 5pm-6.30pmwith Judy Nicholls. All abilities welcome. .
Individual Opportunities
You can book the games courts any time that suits you on a 'Private Hire' basis. We can also put you in touch with other like-minded individuals who, for example, may be looking for a tennis partner or team to play with.
