Multi-Use Games Area

The Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) opened in October 2005 and is divided into two separate courts with a 3.6-metre high retractable dividing net to create two completely separate playing areas. The 37m x 37m porous macadam surface is colour-coated green, with the courts marked up as follows:
- 2 x 5 a-side football (yellow markings)
- 1 x 8 a-side football (yellow markings)*
- 2 x Tennis courts (white markings)
- 2 x Netball courts (red markings)
- Unmarked area(s) for recreational basketball
*8 a-side football requires the use of both courts.
Whenever two courts are in use at the same time, they can be separated by the dividing net.
For play after dark, floodlights operate on a token meter (available from the site office).
Plans are underway to provide additional changing rooms, as well as quality gym and treatment facilities.

.Disabled Access
Access from the parking area to the playing surface is via a hard surface on a very slight slope, with no steps.
Bookings
The games area can be booked for any activity that is suitable for the surface. Bookings can be made for one or both courts at any time, for any reason, for example:
- Wake up call: Early morning sessions for fitness, health and to give the right start to the day.
- Time-4-U: Relax with time out. Children at school? This could be the session for you!
- Never-2-Old: Try something new, get active, stay active and keep fit!
- Lunchbreak Workout: Lose the tension with a great stress-busting session. Basic shower facilities are available on site.
